One last application

Woof! It's the last application to Surfing The Nations for this trip :) My passport is copied, my application filled, my essays written, references finished and they are all stuffed in the folder ready to be sent. What a blessing to have this crazy opportunity. I can't wait to hear back from them, I haven't even sent it yet and I already am anxious to know what they are going to say. Okay really think about it... Israel, Jordan, AND Egypt (yes please). What an adventure this could be and a challenge I'll never forget. The team just got back from Bali (either today or tomorrow) and even though that was my "dream" trip... the Lord made it very clear it was too soon to jump on with the team. God has opened the doors for Surfing The Nations at the right time and he has closed some too. The Bali trip was my first thought, than came Bangladesh (but again he had other plans) and of course he is always on top of it -- because than came the chance of a life time to be on with Surfing The Nations as an intern :) Maybe I'll get asked to be on staff and I'll get to work with the international team and be blessed to really see God's creation. I'm semi giddy with how much the Lord has blessed me this summer and just the thought of being able to be in Oahu and maybe the Middle East has me jumping like a kid. I remember in the school year talking with Chris (the main international outreach man) about Bali and Bangladesh and every time I got off the phone I was jumping off the walls with excitement of what may happen.
Well for now I am still in Cannon Beach (for about a month) working working working working until the moment I fly out. Today is the day I send off my application for the international outreach and than it's just time to prepare for Oahu an wait for the "ok" for Israel. But I know no matter what happens God's god it and he knows the exact plan for me. And trust me after the dawn patrol surf session this morning in my 5.4 winter suit (forgetting my gloves) I can't wait for the 44 degree water to be far far FAR away from me! My hands are just now starting to thaw out. Rough.
Stoked and lost in prayer.
